HYC Awesome Bids For Kids - Covid Edition

Help keep Stettler Big Brother Big Sisters and Stettler Boys and Girls Club programs running by bidding on many amazing donated items from October 6 - 8!

Did you know that we have been running our Awesome Auction for 28 years?! This awesome fundraiser began as a radio auction, progressed to A&W as a silent auction and quickly grew to a live and silent auction with over 150 items each year.

This year looks quite different with COVID-19 gathering restrictions but the youth in our community need your support now more than ever!

If none of the items catch your eye, or you'd like to make a cash donation, feel free to choose one of 3 BUY NOW options ($50, $100 or $250) or you can send any amount of donation by e-transfer to hycstett@telus.net Tax receipts are available for cash donations over $20. Please include your full name and mailing address in the comment section when you e-transfer.

HYC is made up of the Stettler Boys & Girls Club and the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Stettler.
- We serve 275 local youth, ages 6 - 18, each year through 21 programs.
- Last year our teens volunteered in various community service projects for a total of 1954 hours
- There are 20 youth on the wait list for a Big Brother or Big Sister
- in 2019, apx 30% of our families identified as low income - this number is even higher now during the pandemic
- Our youth love coming here because they feel included and safe; they have fun; they have access to their friends and our supportive staff; our staff encourage them to try new things and get out of their comfort zone; and because they have access to experiences and opportunities such as jobs, references letter, and scholarships.
