About Our Auction

Horse Trials BC is a not-for-profit organization which supports many programs – one of which is the Horse Trials BC Young Rider program. The goals are to encourage participation in the sport of eventing through clinics, educational seminars, and competitions in the belief that our young riders (members 25 years of age and under) will develop an appreciation for the sport and for their equestrian athletic partner.
Each year the BC Young Riders host a major fund-raiser to support the many endeavours offered to our young riders. The money raised goes towards helping to fund several clinics/educational seminars for all our members, supporting destination event competitions, course walks, and sending qualified competitors and their young rider grooms (who are a vital part of the team for both horse and rider) to the North American Youth Championships (NAYC). Previously, the championships have been held in Lexington, Kentucky; Parker, Colorado; and Kalispell, Montana.
Your support of the Horse Trials BC Young Rider Program through this auction is greatly appreciated in helping to develop our up and coming Olympians and World Equestrian Athletes. Thank you for your support.

About Horse Trials BC Young Riders

Eventing, also known as Horse Trials or Combined Training, is an exciting sport in which horse and rider must safely and successfully complete three different phases of competition. These phases are Dressage, Cross Country Jumping and Stadium Jumping. Eventing in this respect is similar to a Triathlon but usually takes place over 2 or 3 days.
