STEAM Holiday Silent Auction

This event is a primary fundraiser for our school. By becoming a donor, the Hillside PTSA will be helping to provide our middle school students with as many advantages as possible to succeed. Wouldn’t it be great to raise enough money to fully support our science, technology, engineering, and performing arts classes?

100% of proceeds from this event go towards educational programs, supplies, and enrichment programs.

The mission of the Simi Valley Unified School District, in partnership with families, businesses and our community, is to provide each student the opportunity to develop knowledge, values, goals, skills, and self-confidence to be continuous learners, and responsible citizens.

At Hillside STEAM Academy, students have an amazing gift of opportunity. This is the ability to learn advanced skills and practices in specialized programs that are called Pathways. These Pathways allow a student to truly pursue the fields and subjects that interest them most, and further provide important experience they will need when going to high school or college. Each of these programs are aligned with the California CTE (Career Technical Education) Pathways and related standards. A truly great thing about these Pathways is the diversity in their programs, and just how many opportunities we students are offered to learn about unique and interesting things. Another important fact about Pathways here at Hillside is that they actually lead into the advanced programs and courses that are offered at the various high schools. This way we are able to gain experience in the respective fields that interest us, and we can also discover if we truly like a certain subject or not. The ultimate goal of each Pathway is to prepare students to be career and college ready. Hillside Middle School is proud to offer courses in 14 different CTE pathways.
