The Hayward Education Foundation (HEF) is a non-profit organization (501(c)(3)) whose purpose is to enhance the educational opportunities of students in all Hayward schools. Through innovative classroom projects, we not only improve student skills but also encourage a life-long love of learning. Since 1983, we have given over $1,094,177 to Hayward classrooms. Thanks to your unwavering support, for the 2023-2024 school year, we were able to fund an unprecedented 83 projects, totaling a staggering $74,177.78. Since 1983, the Hayward Education Foundation (HEF) has depended upon the community’s generosity to generate the funds necessary to support innovative and creative classroom projects. Since inception, we have given over $1,040,000 to Hayward classrooms. Our success is based on the funds we raise through your generous donations. We can only give what we receive.
