About Our Auction

Check out the 40 fabulous, unique and fun items donated to this year's annual silent auction! This is Ottawa Grassroots Festival's most important fundraiser and the proceeds are crucial for our sustainability so we greatly appreciate both the donors and the bidders for participating!

To check out the auction items please scroll down and click on an item, or go to the bottom of this page and click on “View All Items”. If you would like to bid on an item go to the item page and click on the “Create an Account” link. Just sign in with your email and create a password, and off you go!

Every performer at Grassroots is paid and all the funds raised go directly to the festival and its artists. In addition to evening concerts, Grassroots provides free family-friendly daytime activities. We also offer programming from different communities including Francophone, Indigenous, people of all-abilities, immigrants, refugees, as well as established and emerging artists.

Your support makes this all possible! The festival organization has no paid employees and does not generate a profit.

If you do not wish to bid on any items, we do gratefully accept cash donations!

About Ottawa Grassroots Festival

The Ottawa Grassroots Festival (OGF) is a non-profit, community-based, volunteer-run organization dedicated to cultivating community at the local level through a vibrant annual festival of concerts and participatory workshops.

Grassroots is recognized as providing a great deal to the community, including free family-friendly daytime activities and workshops that allow people to enjoy this event regardless of their financial ability. Grassroots is also one of the most inclusive and diverse events in Ottawa. We invite many different communities to participate including Francophones, Indigenous, people of all-abilities, immigrants, refugees, as well as established and emerging artists.

The OGF is celebrating its 10th anniversary and was founded by Bob Nesbitt, and dozens of very talented volunteers. The 2022 hybrid edition of the OGF runs from April 21-14, min person and online! Follow us on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
