The Gould Academy Auction is back! We are thrilled to bring the greater Gould community together to raise funds for the Bill and Ki Clough Fund for Experiential Learning, supporting the programs that make the Gould educational experience unique and best in class.

Your donation to this auction will directly support The Four Point Program; The Farm and Forest Program; Orientation, Outing Club and Other Outdoor Adventures.

None of these transformative experiences would be available to Gould students without your support.

Founded in 1836 and located in the historic mountain village of Bethel, Maine, Gould celebrates winter through an unparalleled partnership with Sunday River Resort. Students experience the mountain by becoming ski patrollers and instructors, sliding on rails and racing through gates, or discovering a lifelong passion by simply learning to ski and ride. We flip our daily schedule in the winter and begin our days on snow to take advantage of the best conditions, returning to campus for academics in the afternoon. Sunday River is one of the largest ski and snowboard resorts in the Eastern United States, and we explore every acre of terrain.

Academics at Gould are both challenging and inspiring. Our innovative faculty offers unique and intentional experiential opportunities you won’t find at other schools. Hand-build your own skis or snowboard. Pilot underwater robots in the Marlon Family IDEAS Center, Gould’s maker space. Investigate the natural world surrounding campus in Environmental Science. Develop your artistic passions, hammering iron in the blacksmithing forge. Become a world traveler with your ninth-grade classmates, and go on a winter camping expedition in the White Mountains in our signature Four Point Program.

Gould Academy delivers an exceptional residential boarding school experience. The dorms are an extension of the classroom where students learn to live independently and engage with a vibrant community. At the heart of every Gould journey is a network of caring adults to mentor students and help shape their future. We have a full weekend of Events for Spring Family Weekend.

On Friday night, April 21st, parents and other adult family members are invited to a special reception. It will be held at The Modern Barn in Bethel, a restaurant owned by Gould-parents Jessica and Mike Stasinos P '17 '23.

This is a great time to socialize with other Gould parents and event sponsors. Drinks and desserts will be served from 7:00 - 9:00 pm. Some of the silent auction items will be on display, and all of the silent auction items will be open for bidding.

This will also be the first night of our live auction bidding! 10 of the live auction items will be auctioned at this event.

On Saturday evening, April 22nd, join the Gould Academy Community for our Inaugural Casino Night and Family Auction in Ordway Hall. The Casino Night will be a draw for the greater Gould Academy Community including students, parents, faculty, staff, and alums. It will include fabulous raffles and a family friendly live auction. The final fifteen live auction items will be sold during this event!

This is Gould’s largest fundraising event of the year and will be far reaching both in person and online.
