About Our Auction
This auction is in collaboration with the GRID project, dedicated to providing sustainable community development in Ghana and working with NEA (Northern Empowerment Association) to alleviate poverty and transform Ghanaian communities.
Motivated by the love of Christ, GRID and NEA enable poor communities in Northern Ghana to meet their needs in a sustainable manner, impacting church growth, education, health, food security, among other initiatives! $10 million USD are also being raised to build and establish a hospital so that rural Ghanaians have access to quality health care.
All of the proceeds from the GMI Gala will go towards supporting the GRID project. Any donation will help make an impact to improve the quality of life in Ghanaian communities.

About Global Medicine Initiative
GMI's (Global Medicine Initiative) vision is to advocate for international health and access to medicines at the local, national and international level. Members of GMI are leaders in developing initiatives related to access to medicines and pharmaceutical care at the Leslie Dan Faculty of Pharmacy.
As young professionals, our goal is to promote awareness and education regarding issues and policies that influence international access to drugs. We do this through activities that foster knowledge about global health challenges such as journal club meetings, educational speakers, fundraising and travel.
