HELP KEEP THE HOUNDS WARM WITH GALT'S 2022 ART & ACCESSORIES AUCTION!

Happy belated New Year from GALT and our greys! The last two years have posed significant challenges, and our online auctions and other fundraisers have been instrumental in helping us cover regular medical and boarding expenses PLUS a number of capital expenditures at GALT’s Houn House boarding facility. We could not do what we do without the generous support of our donors, volunteers and auction bidders!

This Art & Accessories Auction is the first of several planned for 2022, and we can really use your help with yet another round of unexpected capital expenses. Many of you have probably heard about the broken gas line and related heating problems we have had at Houn House in the first month of the new year. You can read more about it at this link:

A solution to repair the gas line to Houn House is not definite as of now. In addition to the temporary costs for our short-term fix of the problem, the long-term job will certainly be even more expensive.

Greyhound Adoption League of Texas, Inc. (GALT) is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation operating in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex, throughout Texas, New Mexico and the United States since May 2001. GALT has assisted approximately 3900 greyhounds and other sighthounds in finding their forever homes.

GALT depends solely on donations, fundraisers and net proceeds from its GreytStore.org for its operating budget of more than $657,000 per year for needs of the dogs in its possession.

GALT takes a neutral stand on greyhound racing.
