About Our Auction
What frames your life? Home, work, friendship, family?
Frame Works has invited around 90 New Zealand artists to express the framework of life. The art works are based on a wooden frame which is 465x566x20mm, and while most finished works will be approximately that size, some may vary. From 22 April until 30 April the works were available to view on a trail through the Auckland CBD. On 02 May 2017 we sold some of these fabulous works at a gala event in Britomart but fortunately most are available for purchase online. Our auction ends at 7.45pm on the evening on Wednesday 03 May - please bid generously to secure a stunning Frame Work to support a very worthy cause.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Asylum Seeker Support Trust (ASST), which works with people like you and me, whose framework of home is destroyed by political instability or war.
ASST provides basic human needs such as accommodation, food, accessing medical care, education for children and English language classes to people who are seeking protection in New Zealand while they go through the legal process of applying to have their refugee status recognised.
About Asylum Seeker Support Trust
ASST works to create a safe and supportive environment for all asylum seekers. We provide access to information, services and resources so asylum seekers may effectively pursue the determination of their refugee status, and thrive in their new home.
