About Our Auction
Celebrate the end of a hard year by making it easier for someone else.
As a part of our Foster Well Giving Campaign, we're making it a little more fun with a silent auction!
We're gaining momentum and really seeing the impact of the work we're doing to connect kids, families, and social workers in the foster care community with people who want to love and support them. We're raising money as we look to make more connections, and triple the number of kids and families we're serving in the upcoming year. We'd love to have your help as we do that!
About Foster Well
Foster Well is a nonprofit with a mission to see children and families in the local foster care community thrive by providing them with loving, tangible support through connections with churches and community members.
Our child welfare system is overburdened and needs the support of the larger community around them. Foster Well exists to be a bridge between the foster care community and those that want to love and support them. These are some of the ways we are doing that:
1. Care Teams - volunteers who are matched with a foster family to bring support once a month (ie. a meal, groceries, items for the children, texts/calls of encouragement, etc)
2. CarePortal - Churches can join our network to be notified via email when there are one-time needs for children in the foster/kinship community. Each church forms a response team(s) who can directly meet those needs and connect with the child and family
3. Giving Tree - Christmas gifts for foster/kinship families, and for social workers
4. Community Events - businesses and groups can sponsor events/services that are then offered free for foster families
