For Arts' Sake 2020

Founded in 1979, the Roxbury Arts Group has dedicated decades to creating opportunities for arts engagement in the rural Catskills communities that we serve. Through our performances and workshops, exhibitions and arts education programming, arts grants and advocacy efforts, the Roxbury Arts Group continues to work to support and grow our regional cultural community.

For Arts’ Sake is a highly anticipated event, and the Roxbury Arts Group’s largest annual fundraiser. Proceeds from For Arts’ Sake not only support the efforts of RAG, but also the artists that generously contribute work to the event. Bidding on For Arts’ Sake items ends on Saturday, October 3 at 11:45p.

All works are installed at the Roxbury Arts Center and can be viewed during the Viewing & Bidding Parties taking place on Saturday, October 3. These socially-distanced celebrations are ticketed events limited to 50 during each scheduled time period. Tickets can be purchased at roxburyartsgroup.org or by calling 607.326.7908.

We invite you to bid high, and bid often at For Arts’ Sake. To place a bid, you will need to create an account on www.32auctions.com, which we hope you will find easy-peasy. Once set up with an account, you’ll be able to place bids on any of the items included in For Arts’ Sake.

What are the types of bids you can place?
An exact bid is the amount you want the item's current selling price to immediately jump to. Your bid amount will not change as additional bids are entered on the item.

A proxy bid allows you to enter the maximum amount you're willing to spend with the goal of winning the item at the lowest possible price. The system will bid for you, up to your maximum proxy bid amount, as additional bids are entered on the item.

How do you enter a proxy bid or an exact bid?
To enter a proxy bid, enter your maximum bid amount, click the Proxy Bid button, and then submit your bid.

To enter an exact bid, enter your bid amount, click the Exact Bid button, and then submit your bid.

When you win an item, you will be contacted by a staff member of the Roxbury Arts Group in the days following the close to For Arts’ Sake to arrange for payment of your item. At that time, you can arrange for shipping at an addition fee.
