About Our Auction

Women for Healthy Rural Living's (WHRL) annual Winter Tree Festival and Auction raises funds so WHRL can support our community with a variety of health and wellness programming including Incredible Edible Milbridge and Milbridge Commons.

We hope you'll enjoy these delightful trees, wreaths, and gifts are designed and decorated by community members and local businesses.

~*~ BIDDING ~*~

Create an account to bid (click "Login" above and then "Create an Account Now".) Bidding begins at $25 for all items and increases in $10 increments.

You may place an EXACT bid - enter exactly the amount you wish to bid. The current bid will immediately move to this amount.

Or, you may enter a PROXY bid - which means that you enter the maximum amount you’d like to set. As others bid on the same item, 32Auctions will automatically bid on your behalf, up to your maximum amount. Your maximum bid will remain confidential unless you are outbid!

If you are outbid, you will receive an email notification.

~*~ PAYMENT ~*~

At the finish of the auction, we will email winners about payment - you may choose to pay by cash, check, or credit card when the item is picked up, or via credit card online.

~*~ PICKUP ~*~

Auction winners may pick up their items on Monday, December 6th from 9am to 1pm or on Thursday, December 9 from 9am to 4pm at 87 Main Street.

Non-local winners who do not have someone who can pick up their items for them may have their items shipped for an additional shipping charge (for live Christmas trees we cannot include the actual live Christmas tree – only the decorations and accompanied items) within the US only. Items descriptions will indicate if they are available for shipping.

~*~ THANKS ~*~

Many thanks to Dugald Kel and KelCo for donating the balsam wreaths for this year's auction!

About Women for Healthy Rural Living

Our mission is to advance and promote the health and well-being of the woman, her family, and her community.

Research shows that women are the primary healthcare consumers for their families. By targeting our message to women, we hope to impact the health and wellness of the entire family and community.

Our organization takes a preventative approach to the many health issues and disparities in western Washington County. Our goal is to provide an equitable and accessible path to health and wellness. We address the foundational elements of health as they pertain to the unique needs of our Downeast neighbors. In particular, WHRL focuses on human wholeness, addressing physical wellness and emotional, social, and spiritual health. Priority areas include: 1) creating greater food security and improving nutrition, 2) providing more opportunities for physical activity, 3) building community connections, and 4) affording access to nature. Our programs are open to all.
