This year marks the 20th anniversary of the Fann Cup, back in the city where it began. Comprised of National Lacrosse League (NLL) team fan clubs, the Cup is played annually in rotating cities. The tournament will feature teams from Chicago, Philadelphia and 2 from each of Buffalo, and Toronto. To date, the tournament has collectively raised more than $100,000 for local charities. This year's beneficiaries are:

Oakville Minor Lacrosse www.oakvillelacrosse.com : an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization striving to foster the love of lacrosse for boys and girls in the Oakville community.

Turtle Island Lacrosse www.facebook.com/TurtleIslandLacrosse : Founded by NLL players Randy Staats and Brendan Bomberry, Turtle Island Lacrosse inspires Indigenous youth from high risk and high poverty areas. They are shown the roots of the game and provided with hope using this game as a vehicle for success.
