Native Plant Sale

Indiana Native Plants available for sale by the Friends of Turkey Run & Shades State Parks. All plants are buy now. There will be no bidding.

Plants are available as “Plugs” which are 2 ¾ square by 3 ¾ deep open bottom pots.

Any plants not sold online will be available for purchase as supplies last on May 14th at Turkey Run State Park.

Native plants require less watering, once established, and less maintenance than many other plants. They also adapt to the soil more readily. Adding native plants to your garden will bring more birds and butterflies in search of nectar and seed, thus bring more beauty to your home. Please take this opportunity to purchase Native plants of the Midwest and begin to create more natural habitats for wildlife and pollinators.

The Friends of Turkey Run and Shades State Parks is a 501C3 charitable organization founded to provide financial and volunteer support for our local state Parks. The Eagles In Flight Weekend is our major yearly event to raise funds to be used to enhance programs, provide additional funds for equipment, projects and offer volunteer assistance to increase and improve the facilities, opportunities and educational experiences offered to visitors to Turkey Run and Shades State Parks in West Central Indiana.
