About Our Auction
We won't let Covid steal Christmas!
Every year, The Festival of Trees has an incredible online silent auction which benefits the University Hospital Foundation. This year is no exception. Even though the Festival of Trees is virtual this year, we have worked hard to capture the fun and spirit of the holidays online. We hope to have 150+ items online when Festival begins in November of 2020.
Have fun bidding, we hope you love looking at all the wonderful holiday items we picked for you, and remember, all the funds raised goes to the University Hospital Foundation which this year is benefiting Alzheimer's Research.
About University Hospital Foundation & Festival of Trees
The Festival of Trees began in 1985 with a display of 15 decorated trees in the University of Alberta Hospital itself. Now 36 years later, it has become one of the premier fundraising events in Edmonton with more than 38,000 people attending each year. The purpose of the Festival of Trees is to raise funds to advance the highest levels of
patient care and research at the University of Alberta Hospital, the Mazankowski Alberta Heart Institute and the Kaye Edmonton Clinic. Since its inception, the Festival has raised over $20 million for many different divisions and departments including: trauma services, neurosciences, endoscopy and bronchoscopy, diagnostic imaging and cardiac services.
