Meet the Need Auction
2020 was to be a very exciting year for Elizabeth Seton Residence as we made plans to celebrate our 40th year of providing caring service to the community. Proud of this milestone, we had big plans for a celebration. But it was not meant to be. COVID-19 made sure of that. Instead of excitement, we have encountered the greatest challenge our skilled nursing facility has ever faced. These past seven months have required strength, perseverance, and much prayer as we faced each day. The need for protective equipment, supplies and heightened skills to confront the virus, coupled with the need for activities and initiatives to help fight our residents’ isolation is very real.
While there’s much uncertainty, we know that we need to adapt to our changing reality. This year, we are replacing our in-person Meet the Need Dinner, with our virtual Meet the Need Auction. While we are extremely disappointed to miss seeing you in person, we know that this is the most responsible decision for the health and safety of our community. This online auction was created so people can participate from home. The auction includes many creative twists on traditional donations with thoughtfulness for people’s safety and well-being. From dining and food, home and garden, arts and crafts, and health and beauty options, we hope that everyone will find something special. We thank the community for its support, now more than ever.
The Elizabeth Seton Residence Meet the Need Auction will run from Friday, September 25 at 8:00 am until Friday, October 2 at 7:30 pm. Proceeds will support the Elizabeth Seton Residence. Anyone wishing to participate in the bidding will need to create a quick, easy, and free login account at 32auctions.com before bidding.
Special thanks go to our sponsors who are making the auction possible along with our friends and businesses who have contributed items and services to the auction. We are also grateful to our 40th Anniversary donors who are mentioned here.
Your participation in the Meet the Need Auction is greatly appreciated! Thank you for bidding!

About Elizabeth Seton Residence
Elizabeth Seton Residence is a Catholic, not-for-profit skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility in Wellesley Hills, MA. The Residence offers long-term care, short-term, post-acute rehabilitation stays, and outpatient Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy. As a ministry of the Sisters of Charity (Halifax), we are deeply committed to delivering quality care in a welcoming environment.
When the doors to Elizabeth Seton Residence opened 43 years ago, a visionary group of Sisters saw that the most valuable gift for our elders, was the embodiment of their vision of providing compassionate, caring service and creating an atmosphere where all feel welcome and respected. Today, the Elizabeth Seton Residence is recognized as one of the finest skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities in the country.
We are honored to be identified for the 12th consecutive year as a Top Performing Skilled Nursing Facility by US News & World Report, recognized by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services as a 5-Star Quality facility. We are also a certified "Great Place to Work"!
