The annual Eagles In Flight Auction is the major fundraiser of the year for The Friends Of Turkey Run and Shades State Parks.
Please BID generously on Lodging, Dining, GiftCards and Gift Baskets, Kids items, Music, Books, Private Guided Nature hikes, Artwork, and locally made hand crafted items.
Plan your 2022 Get OUT and DO list- You can use auction items for your return trips ! Lots of overnight LODGING , MEALS, Nature Guides - CLOTHING and great OUTDOOR EXPERIENCES!.

ALL FUNDS RAISED go to provide much needed additional funding for the programs and projects of the Naturalists and Nature Center- providing funds for recent projects such as restoration of the kitchen at the Historic Lusk Home, resources to plan, purchase seed, plant and maintain the Lusk Heritage Garden, provide funding for equipment ( trail Cameras for wildlife viewing, Water Bottle Refill Station in the Nature Center, 4 New Critter Proof TRASH CANS, Soil Compactor to repair trails, and new Soccer Goals at both parks ) and augment state funding to expand programs available to protect the beauty of our parks through Invasive Species eradication, trail improvements, and increased programs for all visitors to our beloved parks.

The Friends of Turkey Run and Shades State Parks is a 501C3 charitable organization founded to provide financial and volunteer support for our local state Parks. The Eagles In Flight Weekend is our major yearly event to raise funds to be used to enhance programs, provide additional funds for equipment, projects and offer volunteer assistance to increase and improve the facilities, opportunities and educational experiences offered to visitors to Turkey Run and Shades State Parks in West Central Indiana.
