EEO Bahamas Island Cocktails for A Cause

Funds raised through ticket sales and this auction will go to benefit Exceptional Education Outreach Bahamas (EEO) to ensure struggling students who live on Harbour Island and Eleuthera have access to educational interventions that will help them reach their full academic and personal potential. With your help, EEO can continue to provide daily individual and small group instruction to over 250 children annually on the two islands. In addition, EEO provides support to teachers and families through a series of educational seminars and visits from medical professionals and therapists.

Believing that every child should be given learning opportunities to reach their full potential, EEO’s mission is to provide special education and literacy outreach programs to students and their communities in Eleuthera and Harbour Island.

The project’s vision for the islands is to ensure that children with special needs have access to innovative educational programs to help them reach their full academic and pers onal potential.

Collaborating with Bahamian and American educational organizations, EEO strives to equip local teachers, parents, and volunteers with skills and materials to assess students and remediate learning challenges. These efforts will result in a resourceful, student-supportive, sustainable education system for Eleuthera. ​
