Do It For Durrett is back! The all-day event on Friday, September 12, 2025, tees off at 9:00 a.m. at the Grapevine Golf Course as we continue to partner with NextStep Recruiting for our annual Charity Golf  tournament. For our 8th straight year, we will hit the course with a four-man scramble to navigate through drink stands and on-course games as we vie for the coveted winner’s trophy!

The celebration continues at Texas Live! with an epic night you won’t want to miss. George Dunham and his band, The Bird Dogs, will kick things off with high-energy tunes to set the vibe. Then get ready for the live auction to heat things up, running throughout the night as Texas music legends Rhett Miller and Josh Weathers take the stage for an unforgettable acoustic showdown!

Corey Seager Experience:
You may have heard of All-Star Rangers shortstop Corey Seager. You may have seen him play in a World Series or two. But have you met him? Have you seen him take batting practice up close? Have you sat in the seats that he’s providing for you? You get to do all that in 2026 as you watch batting practice, meet Corey for pictures and autographs, and then get four seats in the Lexus Club that includes your food and drinks.
 
 2026 MLB All-Star Experience in Philadelphia:
The Midsummer Classic is coming to Philadelphia on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, and you and a guest can be part of every moment with tickets to all the action-packed events. He’s had dinner at houses and gone to Top Golf and Dallas Stars games. This is your chance to hang out with Derek during the off-season and have some fun with him, along with some of your friends. The date will be at a mutually agreed-upon location and date.

This time it will be a little different as you and a guest will get to go visit Elvis and get batting tips from the All-Star. And why wouldn’t you want tips from Elvis? He finished her career with more than 2,000 hits, scored more than 1,000 runs, and played on the first two Rangers World Series teams. A king indeed.

Mike Maddux Experience:
This auction item is worth it just to get mustache tips from one of the greatest to ever have one in the game, dating all the way back to his 1987 rookie card. This experience has nothing to do with baseball and everything to do with golf. You and a guest will hit the links with Maddux and play 18 holes with one of the best golfers in the Rangers clubhouse. On June 17, 2014, the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex lost a treasure when sports personality Richard Durrett died suddenly at 38. Richard was survived by a then-pregnant wife and two small children. Richard’s zest for life and desire to help anyone and everyone led to the Do It For Durrett Foundation as a way to honor his memory and help working-class families in the Metroplex.

The Do It For Durrett Foundation (DIFD) is focused on raising funds for area working-class families that have been impacted by a sudden loss. The new non-profit was established to provide financial support to the surviving members of the families so that they can try to focus on the day-to-day job of trying to move on without a loved one. While it’s impossible to make up for the loss, the Foundation’s goal is to make the burdens that often accompany a sudden loss a little easier. We have raised more than $3M and helped over 275 families since our inception.
