DWPA 2020 Holiday Scholarship Fundraiser

Empowering women to be our Democratic leaders of the future—it’s what we do! Our scholarship fund helps us do that in a big way, and our 2020 Holiday Event auction is all about replenishing the fund and hopefully increasing our number of awards. DWPA’s auction offers a wide variety of items to bid on, all different, all fabulous! Your generosity will generate the scholarship funds we need for 2021.

In 2020, DWPA awarded four $1,000 scholarships to dynamic high school seniors who are motivated to make a difference in our world. They will be part of the next generation of Arizona’s Democratic leaders, and we are proud and gratified to know we have helped them on their way. DWPA also uses scholarship monies to provide EMERGE AZ tuition for Democratic women seeking public office. This outstanding program offers in-depth training and a powerful network to those who attend.

The Democratic Women of the Prescott Area provide scholarships for high school seniors. We also provide EMERGE AZ scholarships for Democratic women in the Prescott area who want to run for public office. This specialized training also provides a powerful network to those who attend.
