About Our Auction

Marietta City School Board & Marietta/Cobb Driver's Ed invites you to bid on the following surplus vehicles.

The bidding portal will open on Monday, July 19, 2021 at 5:00am and close on Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 10:00pm.

Vehicle options include the standard package for that year and model. In addition, the vehicles have been maintained per manufacturer’s specifications.

These vehicles may be viewed at Marietta Community School located at 368 Wright St SW, Marietta, GA. 30064. Interested parties may view the vehicles at any time. However, an appointment is required to inspect the interior and/or test drive the vehicle prior to the bid submittal deadline. Once the bidding portal opens, appointments will be made available Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays between the hours of 8:00am - 4:00pm for the duration of the bidding time frame. Once the bidding portal closes, inspections and test drives will not be permitted.

By placing a bid, the bidder agrees in good faith to purchase the vehicle if bidder "wins" the vehicle.

Once winning bidders are notified, full payment of bid price must be made by 4:00pm on August 4, 2021. If payment for a specific vehicle is not made by this deadline, the Board reserves the right to offer purchase of said vehicle to the person(s) with the next closest bid amount until said vehicle is sold. Payments for all vehicles must be in the form of a Cashier's Check made payable to Marietta Board of Education. If there are no person(s) available to purchase said car, the Board reserves the right to advertise the sale of said vehicle at a future time.

ALL VEHICLES ARE SOLD AS IS AND ALL SALES ARE FINAL.

The Board can choose to accept or reject any or all bids. All decisions will be in the best interest of the school district.
