Canterbury’s mission is to enhance the lives of seniors by offering quality services and programs to meet the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of seniors. We work in service to them every day, helping to ease the issues related to aging; social isolation, anxiety, depression, transition issues, and more. Our Community Outreach team, including a social worker and chaplain, ensures this essential service is accessible and available to all at Canterbury Foundation. As we re-imagine our fundraising future, we thank you for your support.

Canterbury Foundation has given the Promise of Home to Edmonton seniors for over 49 years. A licensed supportive living facility and registered not-for-profit, Canterbury is a community of transition.
With 4 retirement options and a variety of healthcare services, our campus of care sees independent, assisted and specialty care spaces with evolving programs for residents learning to live with cognitive impairment and specialized practice of long term and palliative care. With volunteerism and community outreach, we welcome intergenerational groups to share in Life Enrichment activities and offer geriatric social work and spiritual care at no cost to our community to support all of the above!
