Children's Charities of Midlands Polar Bear Plunge

ChippenWhales are back again in support of Children's Charities of the Midlands (CCM) which is a non-profit group that has a focus on children with special needs. Many groups and kids will benefit from the efforts of CCM's work. The ChippenWhales plunge team plans to do their part in assisting their efforts with your help. We will be Freezin' for a Reason at Lake Carolina's annual Polar Bear Plunge event on January 16th, 2021. Beneficiaries of CCM include Vitality SC Medical equipment Lending Library, The Unumb Center (Autism Academy), Family Connections, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, and Rising Champions at Prism Children's Hospital. We will do the hard part by freezing in the lake, but that will be nothing compared to what families go through raising children with special needs. The Chippenwhales Polar Bear Plunge team at Lake Carolina, South Carolina raises funds every year to help Children's Charities of the Midlands a 501C3 charity that has a focus on assisting children with special needs. Last year we raised and donated over $100,000.00 through our fundraising efforts to non profit organizations that have a focus on bettering the health, welfare, and education of children in need.
