Pugs on the Web 2020

Welcome to the Colorado Pug Rescue's - Pugs on the Web 2020 - annual fundraising auction!

Although we will really miss seeing your face in person this year, it doesn't mean we can't put on a virtual event, have fun and do some shopping for a great cause! Proceeds from our auction go right back to the rescue and help pay for the care of our fosters. Every dollar is spent on veterinary care and other needs to take care of Pugs and Pug mix squishy faces.

To get an idea as to where donations and fundraising dollars go to, here are some stats from 2019:

Cared for 100 foster & forever dogs
Found forever homes for 72 dogs
Spays/Neuters - 21 dogs
Dental cleanings - 26 dogs
Vaccinations - 52 dogs
Surgeries - 9 mass removals, 37 other surgeries including eye, dental, stomach, spleen, abdominal, soft palate and nasal surgery

After discounts our total vet expenses totaled $115,000!

About Colorado Pug Rescue

Colorado Pug Rescue (CPR) is an all volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the welfare of pug dogs. CPR was established in 1995 by members of a Denver-area pug dog club who were concerned about the welfare of their breed. We are a no-kill rescue and never turn away any pug due to illness or medical needs. We are licensed by the State of Colorado as an animal rescue organization. We are supported by the Rocky Mountain Pug Dog Club. We maintain a five-member Board of Directors, several coordinator positions, and a network of foster homes and volunteers.

What We Do............

CPR rescues pugs that are unwanted, abandoned, stray, sick or injured, or that can no longer be cared for by their owners, throughout Colorado and in surrounding states. We provide necessary veterinary treatment including vet exam, vaccination, spay/neuter, heartworm test and preventative, microchip, and dental care as basic medical care for our pugs. We also address emotional and behavioral issues. We have no central shelter facility. All of our foster pugs are kept in approved foster homes where they receive love and care as part of the family. When our foster pugs are ready to be adopted, we place them in their forever homes after a comprehensive placement process.
