Marxhausen Studio Renovation Auction

The Center for Liturgical Art is hosting the auction of relics and treasures from the studio of Reinhold Marxhausen. All proceeds from the sale of these items will be used toward the renovation of the Marxhausen studio. Structural and aesthetic improvements will once again make the studio a place for creativity and innovation to take place. In this way we seek to honor Reinhold's legacy and serve as gracious stewards over the generous gift of studio by the Marxhausen family.

The Center for Liturgical Art, an outreach program of Concordia University, is dedicated to enhancing the silent witness of art in worship and realigning visual symbols with theological doctrine. In this practice the Center carries forward the legacy of Reinhold P Marxhausen and others who helped lay the foundation for the work we do.
