About Our Auction
The August Auction ends in just a couple of hours -- this afternoon at 5:30 MST!!! Last chance to get your bid in. Please be as generous as you can. Remember that about 1/3 of the annual operating budget for the Crown King Fire Department comes from fundraising events held each year in the Summer and early Fall. Due to the COVID-19 precautions, we are unable to hold these events this year. Our first auction ran from July 1 - July 31, and the current auction runs from August 1 - August 31. We need to raise $15,000 each month to make up for $45,000 of our lost revenue from fundraising events. Thank you so much for your help to get us to our goal. There will be a third auction in September -- probably starting September 15 and continuing thru September 30. We've saved many of the best items for the last auction, so be sure to watch for information about it.

About Crown King Volunteer Fire Department
The Crown King Fire Department was originally established as an all volunteer Association. The CK Fire District was later formed in 1980. The CKFD has a handful of paid employees and about a dozen volunteers.
CKFD employees and volunteers work hard to keep the remote mountain community of Crown King safe. From emergency medical services and fuels reduction to Firewise education, the CKFD continues to serve the town and its visitors. Many locals and cabin owners still carry on the tradition of volunteering for the CKFD. Our funding comes from property taxes, grants, and donations from the public.
