Help us help you! Health and wellness is important now more than ever and it is our goal to expand our services and programs to help ensure the South Shuswap area is a healthy community. We want to bring health care closer to home and keep things local. With funds raised, we will be able to increase our services and effectiveness. Monies raised will be used to expand our space to accommodate new health services, seniors resources and facilitate more health and wellness initiatives.

Operating under South Shuswap Health Services Society which was a grass roots start up in 2013 to promote and support healthy built communities in the South Shuswap. Completely volunteer run, we are funded through people like you, memberships, donations and grant money. We provide senior support resources and services, foot care, income tax preparation, a Mobile Lab, Saturday Walk in Clinic, nutrition workshops, mobile mammograms, dental hygiene, a psychologist and more. Our goal is to expand our services and programs in order to benefit our community and bring health care closer to home. Imagine full time Doctors and Lab services, other health practitioners. Imagine being able to age in place, meaning grow old right here in the beautiful Shuswap without having to move away in order to be closer to services.
During these days of covid-19, we also want to help create social interaction and inclusion. Virtual Tele-Health at the Centre would benefit our community as would training and learning events. Help us help you!
