About Our Auction
All proceeds from the CP Holiday Train silent auction benefit the Friends in Need Food Shelf. Our end goal for the year is $100k!
The Friends in Need Food Shelf, started in 1992, is a community-funded food shelf and we are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit. Friends in Need serves the residents of Cottage Grove, St. Paul Park, Newport and Grey Cloud Island. This past year we distributed over 750,000 lbs. of food and served 28,000 people.
Mission: Provide food and resources to those in need.
Vision: Improving lives by ending hunger.

About CG Holiday Train
The CPKC Holiday Train is again hitting the rails to raise awareness of food insecurities. This is the 21st year our community will be raising funds for our local food shelf in conjunction with the CPKC Holiday Train visit.
The brightly lit train will arrive at West Point Douglas Road just south of the 80th St. Sieben Bridge / Belden Crossing with a trainload of fun and entertainment on Sunday, December 10 at 5 p.m.
Come as early as 3 p.m. to enjoy delicious food and beverages from our food trucks, stop in the warming tent, shop for Holiday Train merchandise and visit with Santa.
The brightly lit train will arrive with a trainload of fun and entertainment at 5:00 p.m. Performances by Tenille Townes and Breland will begin at 5:15 p.m. from the train stage.
