Bonsai & Their Pots

The Jansen Art Center Ceramics Studio and Whatcom Skagit Bonsai Society invite you to Bonsai & Their Pots, a collaborative exhibit of ceramic and bonsai artists from around the region.

Ceramic artists participating in this project created bonsai containers, and bonsai artists from the Whatcom Skagit Bonsai Society planted and designed trees to fit the containers.

The finished pieces will be on display for the duration of the exhibit, and all of the pieces will also be available to purchase through a silent auction. Bids will be taken through the Gallery Shop at the Jansen Art Center starting at the Opening Reception and going through the closing reception. At 4:00 PM on Saturday, April 28, the bidding will close and the winners will be able to take home the Bonsai & Their Pots.

This event is a Silent Auction Fundraiser to benefit the Jansen Art Center Ceramics Studio.

The Jansen Art Center creates opportunities for the community to engage in the arts. The J is a multidisciplinary art center located in a historic building in downtown Lynden, Washington. The J offers performances, visual art exhibits, and art classes for adults, teens, and kids in our six creative studios: ceramics, dance, fine arts & painting, jewelry, music, and textiles.
