Becker Elementary Fall Festita Silent Auction

Becker Elementary was established in 1936 as the first elementary school in South Austin. It has continued to evolve with the community needs and is now a premiere dual language program in the heart of south Austin. Becker strives to be a home school for everyone by promoting inclusion and diversity. Its reputation for positively affecting all who it touches continues to attract students from all over Austin (over 60% of the students are transfers).

The reality is that our incredible school needs the continued support of our community. It is important for us to fundraise because our school (like most other public schools) is underfunded, and our PTA needs to raise money for basic needs like substitute teachers and lunch monitors. In addition, our fundraising efforts go towards dual language curriculum materials, field trips, and technology.

PTA members make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. The Becker PTA is welcoming all new and current parents to join us in this effort to make Becker the best possible experience for all our children! Becker Elementary prides itself on its active PTA, and the PTA helps fund and organize all kinds of enrichment activities, classroom supports, and events.
