BFPD Assoc. Fish Fry, Online Auction & Fundraiser

On behalf of the Bourbonnais Firefighter's Association, I invite you to consider a contribution to the upcoming Bourbonnais Fish Fry. The Bourbonnais Firefighter’s Association Fish Fry event is a long-standing tradition within the community; begun in the 1960’s and held at the original Bourbonnais Rural Fire Department, only blocks from the current location which itself was built by members of the Association with funds collected from the event, the Fish Fry provides a unique opportunity for the patrons of our Protection District to form benevolent memories of the individuals who serve them while providing community assistance to the financial load inherent of emergency operations. The funds collected from the community have repeatedly permitted the acquisition of countless mission-critical supplies and equipment, which in turn have improved the capabilities of the service we provide.

This year, I humbly ask for your assistance in facilitating this community legacy; inflation has left no one untouched, individual or organization, and this reality has affected the procurement of supplies for the Fish Fry event. Your donation would allow for the Bourbonnais Firefighter’s Association to purchase the food and packaging supplies necessary to host a safe and professional fundraising event for the community we love so greatly; all generous contributions will be reflected on a banner proudly displaying the steadfast supporters of this community and event. The money collected from this year’s event will be allocated to the procurement of three Rapid Response Kits to outfit our apparatus. These items have become critical to our mission as a portion of our apparatus is being upgraded to provide EMS capabilities in conjunction with fire suppression to address the significant increase in EMS and call volume. It is my great hope that you will consider contributing to the tradition of outreach and cooperation this event has persisted in establishing; thank you for your consideration.

The association serves as a supplemental fundraising organization to the Bourbonnais Fire Protection District.
