2021 Horsemen's Awards TFH Auction

With changes in fundraising over the last two years, courtesy of COVID restrictions, TFH has had to change the way it raises funds, and we are excited to present an online Silent Auction to help achieve our fundraising goals. We appreciate all your donations and hope you will find this platform easy to manage!
TFH places over 300 Parx horses each year with approved Partner Farms who we trust and follow with the rehabilitation, retraining and rehoming of our beloved racehorses. All funds raised go towards the stipends covering the care of those horses, as well as surgeries and needed veterinary assistance for our horses. Thanks for stopping in !

PTHA’s Turning for Home, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that has provided over 3,450 former racehorses with a safe retirement. The program was created in May of 2008 through the foresight of the Pennsylvania Thoroughbred Horsemen’s Association (PTHA), which revolutionized the model for racehorse retirement. Responding to the need for a better system that addressed the uncertain future for the retiring equine population at Parx Racing, the PTHA rallied horsemen to support the program which had established a viable funding mechanism supported by the racehorse Owners, Horsemen, and Track Management. Turning for Home became the first on-track retirement program at a year-round racetrack. Currently, TFH helps over 300 horses each year to retire from Parx.
