The UK Passenger Locator Form is an important required travel document which all passengers who plan to enter the UK have to fill out prior to arrival. The main purpose of this document is to prevent the spread of the CO VID-19 virus among tourists. It is recommended that you bring the form with you when traveling to the country. However, the form does not replace a visa once you have obtained it.

If you are travelling from outside the European Union then you must also complete and submit the appropriate UK passenger locator form at the port of entry before boarding your airplane. This form should be completed even if you are traveling within the EU. If you were travelling from outside the United Kingdom then you must complete and submit the appropriate UK passenger locator form at the airport where you are departing from.

All international air travellers arriving in the United Kingdom must complete and submit the appropriate UK passenger locator form before departure. This is required if you are traveling from a member country of the European Union, such as Austria, Belgium Bulgaria, Cyprus and Czech Republic, Denmark. Estonia, Finland. France, Germany. Greece, Ireland. Malta. Netherlands. Poland, Portugal. Romania, Slovakia. Slovenia, Spain, Sweden. You are required to complete the form even if you are travelling on an international flight from a non-EU country to one of the EU member states. This is due to the fact that you need to provide updated information about your originating country as well as a destination country in order to prevent the onward flow of contagious diseases amongst passengers.

You must list your travel plans in three points on the UK passenger locator form. The point relating to your travel plans should be the first thing in the form as it provides all details regarding your journey. This can either be point A or point B depending on which is more convenient for you. In addition to this, you have to include all important dates when your travel plans ends and start. You have to do so no less than 48 hours before your scheduled departure date. If you forget to do so, your travel plans will be considered incomplete.

It is strongly recommended that you submit your UK passenger locator form as soon as possible. This gives customs and immigration officers more time for verification of your travel documents. The more information you provide initially, the earlier your application will be approved and your request for entry into the United Kingdom will be granted. However, if you do not submit the form by the deadline, border control officials may deny your request to enter the UK. There are a lot of reasons why people who want to travel to the UK may fail to submit forms as required. You could have been told to travel to your country of origin by a direct flight, or through a freight forwarder. You may not have all the paperwork required or have not submitted a valid proof that you are British.

If you fail to submit the UK passenger locator form as required, your application for leave to remain in the UK will be denied. As soon as this happens, you will not be permitted to stay in the country for a minimum of three months unless you can prove otherwise. In some cases, the three-month rule is waived, but it is still required that you prove your identity as well as your residence or work in another country prior to boarding the airplane to another country.
