To help keep the dojo running smoothly and our rates so reasonable, members and supporters have donated items for your enjoyment. All the proceeds go directly to our operation account which includes a scholarship fund to help those who can't always afford testing or special seminars.

Our goals are to first, establish a one month operational reserve, second to rebuild our scholarship funds, third to rebuild our guest instructor fund, fourth to rebuild our mat replacement fund, and lastly to create a 2nd month of operational reserve.

Aikido Kokikai of Rochester is a defensive martial arts dojo whose goals are aimed towards introducing all people to the revolutionary ideas of Aikido. Ideas that help you to develop greater inner peace, unify your mind and body, help you to be more calm and relaxed, realize your full potential, and enjoy life to the fullest.

Our dojo is operated by a team of volunteer instructors led by Sensei Judy Warner and Sensei Brian Martens. Yes, all volunteers, we aim to bring in just enough monies to cover our expenses to make it affordable for everyone because if you want to practice Aikido, we want to do our best to make it affordable.

Aikido Kokikai of Rochester lives in a wonderful space, nearly 3,000 square feet, 1500 of which are new practice mats. Stop in to check us out and meet some of the numerous friendly people who practice here. If you decide you'd like to train with us, we won't ask you to sign a long-term contract. We charge by the month and hope that you learn so many good things you can't help but keep coming back.
