AYCF VOR Newport Experience

You are bidding on a once in a lifetime experience for two at the Volvo Ocean Race Newport, RI stopover on May 18th. The top two bids will each get two spots for the M32 Pro-Am race experience. In addition to the race experience, auction winners will enjoy cocktails at the NYYC for an evening. Other items may be included in the experience up until the auction close so make sure to check in periodically.

On the water, you will be treated to a unique sailing experience at the Volvo Ocean Race. Each team will have 3 sailors on board the boat, together with 2 guests. The race is estimated to last around 15 minutes and once you are on-board, you will be a part of the crew and will participate in sailing with the team.

About Annapolis Yacht Club Foundation

The Annapolis Yacht Club Foundation is a 501(c)3 and was official established in 2000 by the Annapolis Yacht Club to provide an opportunity for the community to collectively:
• Contribute to maritime-related charitable and educational organizations in the Mid-Chesapeake Bay region
• Support charitable and educational activities undertaken by the Club
• Foster local excellence in national and international amateur sailing competition
Since its inception, the foundation has worked tirelessly to fulfill each of these 3 missions through generous tax deductible donations. The byproduct has been raising the competitive level of sailors in the Mid-Chesapeake bay region as well as giving and facilitating access to our tidal environment to those who may not have the resources to do so otherwise.
