100% of proceeds from our silent auction will be donated to The Candlelighters Ottawa; A local not-for-profit childhood cancer support program.

The Candlelighters Ottawa’s vision is to ensure that 100% of children and teens diagnosed with cancer get the support they need by providing financial, education, family and survivor support. Childhood cancer can have significant psychological and social impacts including coping issues, family concerns, lost schooling, learning problems and family financial distress.

Their mission is to enrich the lives of children and their families coping with childhood cancer and to promote awareness and understanding of the impact this has on their lives.
Did you know; On average 65 children will be diagnosed with cancer this year in the National Capital and surrounding area. There will be 400 children diagnosed in Ontario this year alone.

Help put a smile on a Childs face, your donation will make a difference !

We are a team of seven graduate students in the Algonquin College Event Management program. Our main project for this program is to produce a successful fundraising event. Our goal is to raise $2000 for The Candlelighters Ottawa, through our event " A Taste of France". Which is a virtual evening of French inspired food and drinks.

All proceeds from this event will go to Candlelighters, an Ottawa based charity that offers childhood cancer support programs. Join us on Saturday, March 20th, 2021 from 5-7 pm EST for A Taste of France;
The auction will open on Saturday march 6th at 12 pm and stay opened until 1 hour after our event on March 20th at 8pm.

Bidding increments will be of $5 - $10 depending on the item.
