Adoption Support Alliance 7th Birthday Auction

As we enter into our 8th year, we are grateful to everyone in our community that has played a part in our journey. We are certainly still in the growth process, but can only look back with appreciation for our history. One of our annual traditions is to host an auction to highlight some of the great local organizations and people in our Charlotte-area community. Thanks to the generous donors, we are able to allocate all of the money raised to continuing to support all the wonderful programming taking place through Adoption Support Alliance.

Adoption Support Alliance is non profit organization celebrating nine years of serving adoptive families in Charlotte NC. The analogy often cited is that the adoption field is designed to have many providers who plan for the wedding, but fewer supports for the marriage. The lack of long-term support for adoptive families inspired the launch of ASA in 2014.

ASA's MISSION is to help adoptive families through the unique challenges of building their forever family.
ASA'S VISION is to ensure all adoptive families get the support they need to thrive.

ASA supports families by offering:

*COMMUNITY BUILDING- the core to everything we do. We offer multiple opportunities to foster deep connections across our network and beyond with support groups, community events and more.

*CLASSES- in all aspects of the adoption process to give you the information you need to navigate your stage of the adoption process-whatever that may be.

*CONNECTION GROUPS- provide a safe space to share unique challenges, encourage and support one another in specific ways and grow in understanding of a particular issue or life stage.

*COUNSELING- Every adoption is unique, with its own challenges and concerns. We offer professional counseling services for individuals and families.
