Roots of Health Charity Auction

Sadly the 2020 ANZA ANZCHAM Grand Charity Ball supporting Roots of Health / Ugat ng Kalusugan (ROH) was unable to go ahead due to COVID-19. However, we have some great auction items generously donated by our sponsors with proceeds of the sales going to ROH.

Roots of Health works to empower women addressing the sexual and reproductive health issues of teen pregnancy, maternal deaths, and HIV infection in Palawan and beyond. Sadly, Palawan has the highest teen pregnancy rate and little is being done to educate the women and youth of the region to prevent unwanted teen pregnancy and provide reproductive education.

With your help we can provide:

• Teen access to youth-friendly clinics to help prevent unplanned teen pregnancy and maternal deaths.
• Nonjudgmental, confidential education on the reproductive systems, how pregnancy happens, and how contraceptives work to prevent pregnancy 

• Free contraceptives 

• Free HIV screening 

• Free prenatal care
• Free prenatal vitamins

The Australian and New Zealand Association (ANZA) in Manila is all about community. We thrive on creating a safe and social place for Australians, New Zealanders and their families and friends. We do this by creating community events, organising hobby-related groups and communicating important information to all of our members.
