Austin High School Orchestra Silent Auction

The Austin High School Orchestra Booster Club holds fundraisers to support the program and it's students. Funds raised are used to provide: scholarship assistance for annual orchestra fees or instrument rental, to pay competition fees and transportation costs, to repair and maintain instruments, to purchase needed instruments, to purchase sheet music and to pay visiting clinicians.

The Austin High School Orchestra is an Austin Independent School District Orchestra program administered at the Stephen F. Austin High School in Austin Texas. The school is the oldest high school west of the Mississippi and the Orchestra has been active for nearly a century. The Orchestra is led by Director, Ana Maria Solis Herrera and serves students of varied economic means. The group is dedicated to ensuring opportunities in string music education to all interested students through fundraising, community engagement and educational opportunity.
