Annex Cat Rescue proudly celebrates 26 years of providing care and homes for Toronto's most vulnerable cats and kittens. Our 100% volunteer-run rescue is all HEART!

Our Cat's Meow Spring Auction is the purrfect way to assist community cats in Toronto. We are bracing ourselves as we enter into another kitten season and we are also continuing to helping community cats as well as cats living in ACR-managed colonies in need of medical and dental care, which is very expensive.

ACR’s passionate volunteers are proud of our work over the past quarter century. We are committed to raising awareness about the plight of homeless cats while promoting responsible pet ownership.

Annex Cat Rescue is a Toronto-based, 100% volunteer run, not for profit registered charity, with no office or shelter and receive no government funding.  Founded in 1997, our mission is to address the problem of homeless and street cats in Toronto by spaying/neutering, bringing adoptable cats into our foster/adoption program, managing colonies of feral cats (those who are not adoptable), and educating the public about responsible pet ownership and living with community cats.
