2023 Baskets & Bubbly

The annual summer fundraiser, 2023 Baskets & Bubbly, supports the iconic island craft of Nantucket Lightship Baskets with a fun celebration, this year at the Whaling Museum, accompanied by an online auction providing bidders with the opportunity to bid on baskets and basket-related items. Proceeds from the online auction will support the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum Gallery with its mission in affiliation with the Nantucket Historical Association.

The Nantucket Historical Association (NHA) was founded in 1894. The NHA is a leader in preserving Nantucket’s shared heritage while accomplishing its mission to preserve and interpret the history of Nantucket through its programs, collections, and properties, in order to promote the island’s significance and foster an appreciation of it among all audiences.
