2023 Baskets & Bubbly

The annual summer fundraiser, 2023 Baskets & Bubbly, supports the iconic island craft of Nantucket Lightship Baskets with a fun celebration, this year at the Whaling Museum, accompanied by an online auction providing bidders with the opportunity to bid on baskets and basket-related items. Proceeds from the online auction will support the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum Gallery with its mission in affiliation with the Nantucket Historical Association.

2023 Baskets & Bubbly is the summer fundraiser for the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum Gallery. The mission is to enhance lightship basket exhibits and enlarge our permanent baskets collection, research, and create a comprehensive coffee table book about the history of the Nantucket Lightship Baskets right up to the present day. In addition, exciting basket classes are ongoing for children and adults, year-round. Proceeds from the online auction and celebration will support the Nantucket Lightship Basket Museum Gallery and its mission in affiliation with the Nantucket Historical Association.
