2022 BIF Fundraising – Newbury Buddhist Monastery

Bodhinyana International Foundation (BIF) is a registered nonprofit Theravada Buddhist organisation in Hong Kong where Ajahn Brahm is our spiritual advisor.

We are pleased to organise this online auction where proceeds and donations will go directly to support our sister organisation, the Buddhist Society of Victoria (BSV), the oldest Theravada Buddhist teaching centre in Australia founded in 1953.

In 2014, the BSV established a forest monastery named Newbury Buddhist Monastery (NBM) in Newbury, central Victoria for the four-fold assembly of monks, nuns, lay-women and lay-men to learn and practise of the Dhamma.

In 2015, NBM was officially opened by Ajahn Brahm, BSV’s spiritual adviser. Two years later, it commenced Stage 1 of the “3-Stage NBM Development project.”
