Paddles and Palettes

Organized by Immunize Nevada, Paddles and Palettes celebrates the annual Northern Nevada International Dragon Boat Festival held at the scenic Sparks Marina. This Sparks Museum exhibit and auction features upcycled and repurposed Dragon Boat paddles by twenty local artists. These original works represent all ages; reflect diverse themes; made with a variety of materials.

All paddles are available for bidding until August 17, and proceeds help connect thousands of Nevadans each day with reliable information, resources, and access to life-saving vaccines. At a time when the United States is experiencing the greatest number of measles cases in twenty-seven years, Immunize Nevada’s life-saving mission of promoting health and preventing disease is as crucial now as it was when founded in 1995.
