Founded in 1914, The Midnight Mission is the oldest continuously operating human services agency in Los Angeles, serving nearly one million meals per year to the homeless community. Its programs in Downtown’s Skid Row, on Los Angeles’ Westside and in Orange County give men, women and children experiencing homelessness the tools they need to work themselves out of poverty and into housing and improved circumstances.

In addition to providing basic needs like food and shelter to homeless individuals and families, The Midnight Mission provides a world-renown addiction recovery and aftercare program, job training and education and access to physical and mental health services. HomeLight Family Living, a program of The Midnight Mission, offers a safe, structured environment for families shattered by domestic violence, human trafficking, issues of sobriety and other hardships to transition themselves and their children from homelessness to independence.
