All international travelers must complete the UK Passenger Locator form before departing. This document is required to prevent the spread of the deadly CO VID-19 influenza virus. If you plan to fly into the UK, you will want to be prepared with this form at the time of check-in. This form can be filled out in several different forms; however, the most popular is the UK Passenger Locator form.

It is important to remember that the UK Passenger Locator Form covers international air travel only. The form will not cover rail travel, nor can it be used as a valid visa or citizenship card when entering the UK. It must be shown upon arrival in the UK that you have obtained a visa upon arrival for 90 days or more from the date of your departure for the country that you are traveling to. This information must be presented to immigration authorities in order to delay processing of your application.

If you don't have the proper documentation upon arrival, you will not be permitted to fly to the United Kingdom. The purpose of the UK passenger locator is to make sure that you have all the necessary documents to allow immigration authorities to process your request to enter the UK. Without the appropriate form filled out, a visa cannot be granted to you until the 90 days is up on your flight.

If you plan on traveling from a country other than the one that you are traveling to in the UK, you will need to obtain a visa. As long as you do not overstay your visa or apply for leave to remain in the country, a visa will allow you travel within the UK member states. You must indicate whether you are traveling solo, with your family or with another person to complete the UK passenger locator. The person you are traveling with must also indicate their correct visa type upon arrival. Your application must include the visa number on your traveler's ID or badge. You will be denied leave to remain in the UK if you have overstayed your visa. To avoid this, you will need to complete the form to indicate your intention to depart and the required visa number.

It is not what any passenger wants to find out upon arrival at their destination that they have to stay an extra night due to overstays or they have been issued an ex-visa. It is important that you complete the UK passenger locator form correctly, and then submit it along with all required documentation and forms when you are ready to leave. If you have not completed and returned the application in full and timely manner, it is not acceptable to submit it to the airlines. You may also download the online form within 48 hours and pick it up at any branches of the airline servicing your departure destination.

For the UK passenger locator form, you will need to present your passport and one piece of identification. Some airlines require passengers to also present a valid visa card. If you are unsure about what identification requirements you must follow, you can always call the airline customer service center to find out. Your application and all supporting documents should be carefully examined before the airline accepts it for processing.
