Yellow Truck Art Village

The Yellow Truck Art Village is a program held every summer at the LEC where clients use paint, sand, twine, and other materials to create beautiful works of art on pieces of weathered steel, guided by local artists Mike Elsass. The Art Village provides participants an opportunity to socialize, express their creativity and artistic voice, and boost their self-confidence by producing artwork that is displayed not only at the Life Enrichment Center but throughout the community.

The Life Enrichment Center is a Christian-based non-profit organization working to fight the spread of addiction, hunger, and joblessness on the East Side of Dayton. The East Side is one of the most impoverished areas of the city, but we believe it can be transformed once again into a vital, vibrant community.
