Wild & Scenic Film Festival 2018

This is the pre-event online auction for the 10th annual Wild & Scenic Film Festival! The event, hosted by the Vermont Natural Resources Council (VNRC) and Patagonia Burlington, will be held at Main Street Landing in Burlington on Friday, April 6th, 2018 from 5:30 - 10 pm. The online auction will close at 10 am the morning of the Film Festival and all items will be present for further bidding at the event that evening.

The Wild & Scenic Film Festival silent auction features valuable Vermont-sourced items such as gift certificates to local restaurants, lift tickets, CSA and museum memberships, and more! All event proceeds will benefit VNRC, Vermont’s oldest independent environmental advocacy organization, which works from the grassroots to the Legislature to strengthen the foundation upon which Vermont’s economy thrives — vibrant communities, clean water, working farms and forests, wild places, and clean energy.

This year’s Wild & Scenic Film Festival focuses on the many ways advocacy is shaping our country and the world, featuring films that will inspire outdoor enthusiasts and activists alike. We’ll be serving up locally sourced food catered by the farm-to-school program in the Burlington School District and drinks by Zero Gravity Brewery.

VNRC has worked to protect Vermont's environment and communities for over 50 years. Through partnerships with other organizations, individuals and businesses, we have been very successful and instrumental in enacting many of the landmark laws that have forged Vermont’s national reputation as an environmental leader. Beyond state policy, VNRC provides technical assistance to communities across Vermont on a variety of planning and development issues. We were instrumental in forming and now assisting over 100 local energy committees, and we have educated and empowered thousands of Vermonters on local and state environmental issues. We work to inspire our activists and members, help them express their opinions to local and state decision makers, and get involved in the projects in which we engage. We have programs in energy, forests, water and sustainable communities.

Auction winners will be announced at the Wild & Scenic Film Festival:
