Women & Wildlife 2015

Women & Wildlife: Celebrating Conservation, Honoring Leadership, Inspiration, and Education is a cocktail party and silent auction to be hosted by Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey (CWF) on Wednesday, October 28, 2015, at Duke Farms in Hillsborough, New Jersey.

This celebration recognizes outstanding women for their achievements and advances in protecting New Jersey’s endangered and threatened wildlife species.

This 10th Anniversary event, featuring keynote speaker Governor Christine Todd Whitman, will also celebrate CWF’s past decade of honoring women for their success in protecting, managing, restoring, and raising awareness for the State’s endangered and nongame wildlife species. These honorees helped to make New Jersey a leader in bringing key species back from the brink of extinction – species such as the bald eagle, peregrine falcon, and osprey.

Proceeds will benefit Conserve Wildlife Foundation of New Jersey’s efforts to protect rare and imperiled wildlife.

The nonprofit Conserve Wildlife Foundation (CWF) has worked for more than 25 years to protect at-risk wildlife through field science, habitat restoration, education, and public engagement in New Jersey and beyond. Our biologists and trained volunteers utilize surveys and monitoring, wildlife banding, and habitat enhancement to benefit the species that most need our help. Our team has played a central role in the inspiring recoveries of species like the bald eagle, bobcat, osprey, and peregrine falcon, and is working to ensure that New Jersey continues to hold a place for rapidly declining wildlife like so many shorebird, bat, reptile and amphibian species.
