Winter Wishes Online Auction 2019

The North Shore Women's Centre (NSWC) is hosting a winter online auction in the hopes of raising $3,500 to help empower women and girls on the North Shore.

With help from our generous and community-minded donors, we are dedicated to promoting the empowerment of women and girls who are faced with challenges such as poverty, violence, physical or mental ill-health, homelessness, unemployment, isolation, and other difficult life circumstances.

All of the auction items are generously donated by community-minded businesses, and 100% of proceeds will go towards operating our free Programs and Services that support women and girls in the community, such as our Single Moms Support Group, Health and Wellness Program, Family Law Clinic, and Girls Empowerment Camp. We have between 7,000-8,000 service contacts each year!

The North Shore Women's Centre, founded in 1973, is a non-profit organization and charity with a mission to increase the social, economic, legal and political status of women, and to promote women's self-empowerment.

Located in North Vancouver on the unceded Traditional Territories of the Musqueam, Squamish and Tsleil-Waututh Nations, the North Shore Women's Centre operates a drop-in resource centre with access to information, referrals and peer-counseling, as well as a range of programs and services such as a Single Mom's Support Group, Family Law Clinic, Girls’ Empowerment Camp, Health and Wellness Program and more.
