Wake Forest Annual Public Interest Law Auction

Back by popular demand, the Wake Forest Public Interest Law Organization ("PILO") is holding an online auction in addition to its annual live auction. The auction is the largest fundraising event for PILO. All of the money raised by the auction is used to provide grants to law students working in unpaid public interest positions during the summer. We encourage alumni and others outside the Wake Forest Law community to donate and participate in this exciting event. There are many great items up for bid in this year’s online auction, such as paintings by Professor George Walker and much more!

About Wake Forest Public Interest Law Organization

The Wake Forest Annual Public Interest Law Organization (“PILO”) Auction raises money to fund stipends for JD students working in unpaid public interest positions during the summer. PILO promotes Wake Forest Law's tradition of training lawyers who serve not only their clients, but also their communities. These grants give students the freedom to accept positions with organizations where they fulfill their passions while assisting the public and underserved communities. Since its inception, the auction has raised thousands of dollars and given hundreds of grants to students working on issues including immigration, environment, domestic violence, and child advocacy. Students have worked with legal aid, public defenders, district attorneys and NGOs, among others.

Special thanks to the companies that provided major donations for the live auction!
